Source of progressivism’s strength

Progressivism derives its strength from a variety of factors, the most interesting of which is the delay in return on investment in new children.

Children in late stage industrial cultures need 20+ years of expensive training and consumption before they earn a dime, and all the other values of progressivism follow from this.

While the traditionalists are busy fighting the effects and the facilitators of progressivism, the underlying order traditions relied on, is pulled from underneath their feet.

Three ways I can see traditions winning is if either:

• skilled labour training is achieved cheaply and quickly
• third world religions invade the progressive nations and bring back the old order.
• drug resistant illnesses increase infant mortality
