This is an unstated theory, and an unnamed premise behind most arguments in left wing politics.
The myth is that rich people became rich because, just due to sheer luck they found secret stash of wealth or something, and are unwilling to share it with the rest of the world.
I think you the reader are smart enough to realize that prosperity is rarely a matter of luck. There is a path of choices that lead to prosperity.
The universe is benign. Catastrophes and life boat scenarios are anomalies. Or else the insurance business would not be possible. So do not accuse the rich for not having been born on a lifeboat.
The fact that some countries make their places into a huge lifeboat is not a matter of luck. It is direct result of human choices.
