Saw Anders Hejlsberg's video at the BUILD 2011. Microsoft in it's usual fashion of being the last imitator unveiled the yet to be released Roslyn project which implements all the niceties of LISP/Ruby like languages inside C#/VB. It is going to be easy to manipulate and create compiler's syntax trees at runtime and that brings in the possibility of metaprogramming and mixins (not sure). Loved the syntactic sugar for LISP style continuations which neither LISP nor Ruby has. So I am officially going to fall for Microsoft. I am afraid of lock-ins but meh, I want convenience and all the features.
