Krugman is wrong about Bitcoin because, he believes productivity of an economy increases with the amount of transactions.
Productivity increases because of the ingenuity of a thinking mind.
If deflationary currencies like commodities & bit-coin suffer from irrational hoarding, new commodities & mathematical artifacts like bit-coins take its place.
