Do 20 push ups per day to go to heaven OR you will rot in hell forever.

There are infinite number of such “threats” possible, for avoiding the wrath of infinite number of imaginary entities. If we take all such threats seriously, pretty soon we will spent our only lives doing infinite number of things just to stay out of trouble.

But wagering such threats are real, is in fact the essence of Pascal’s Wager.
